Polarium’s board has appointed Clas Gunneberg as the new CEO, effective as of today.
“Polarium has grown rapidly and established itself as a leader in its field. However, recently the company has not delivered on its strategy and ambitious goals. The board has concluded that new leadership is required for Polarium to fully capitalize on its strong market position. We thank Stefan Jansson for his hard work and welcome Clas Gunneberg as the new CEO, to lead Polarium into its next phase,” says Carl-Erik Lagercrantz, Chairman of Polarium.
“I am proud of the company we have built together. After ten intensive years, it is time for a new leadership,” says former CEO Stefan Jansson.
Clas Gunneberg has previously been CEO of Piab and Mobile Climate Control. He has over 25 years of experience in leading positions within Swedish and international industrial companies and joins Polarium with a clear mandate for change.
“Polarium has a strong position as a technology leader in the rapidly growing energy storage market. I look forward to getting to know the company and, together with the board and employees, lead the work to strengthen Polarium,” says Clas Gunneberg, CEO of Polarium.
