Polarium has today entered into a strategic partnership with KP Energy – one of the Nordic region’s foremost wholesalers in solar energy, EV charging, and energy storage. Under the partnership, KP Energy will distribute Polarium’s home energy storage system, Polarium Home, to its key partners throughout the Nordics.
Through this collaboration, Polarium gains access to KP Energy’s strong regional presence, opening up greater availability of advanced battery solutions even in smaller, local markets. KP Energy’s customers span a wide range of players – from major energy companies and established installation firms to local electrician businesses.
“This partnership is an important step in our strategy to expand across the Nordics. Through KP Energy’s local presence and strong distribution capabilities, we can make our solutions accessible to more households while maintaining a high level of service and technical expertise,” says Eric Ekberg, EVP Business Area Residential at Polarium.
Scalability, Local Presence, and Expertise Across the Nordics
Polarium Home will be introduced to the market via KP Energy’s established relationships and methods. By combining Polarium’s technical expertise with KP Energy’s logistics solutions and customer support, an attractive and scalable offering is created – even for smaller companies.
In this close collaboration, KP Energy’s product managers and technical support team will gain access to Polarium’s R&D center and test lab. This makes it possible to work together with installers and resellers to improve products based on local needs and market conditions across various parts of the Nordic region.
“The partnership with Polarium is a key step in our ambition to offer high-quality energy storage solutions throughout the Nordics. We see a clear demand for products developed in Europe, and Polarium Home is a strong example – with both hardware and software developed in Sweden. With its thoughtful design, smart controls, and high flexibility, we are confident it will be an attractive choice for both installers and end customers,” says Fredrik Stake, Chief Product Officer at KP Energy.
